Just a Quickie to Seattle Sugar Bakery & Cafe, Serious Pies

We had awesome pastries from Sugar around the corner from our hotel both Saturday and Sunday Morning.

Some stars were the Salted Caramel Croissant and Lavender Shortbread. Trying to be a little healthier, I ordered the Brie and Prosciutto Sandwich.

Other exciting menu options for next time include Cheesecake Bites, Almond Tea Cakes, and Ice Cream Sandwiches.

After a light breakfast, I was craving a Tom Douglas’ Serious Pie, my favorite pizzas with famous blistered crusts from their 600-degree apple wood-burning oven. I ordered the mushroom with roasted seasonal crimini and truffle cheese, to which we added prosciutto, TOTAL: $26

Plus my favorite…Yukon gold potatoes, Pecorino, Romano, and rosemary for $23
